b. Crypto Payments (Aurpay)
- Processed via Aurpay
- Typically uses stablecoins (e.g., USDC)
- May be subscription-based or one-time renewal, depending on wallet/provider support
You are responsible for ensuring your wallet or provider supports recurring payments if applicable.
5. Non-Custodial Payments
BetDebate:
- Does not hold or custody funds
- Does not control payment execution
All transactions are handled by third-party providers (Stripe, Aurpay).
6. Refund Policy
All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
This includes:
- Subscription fees
- Crypto transactions (which are typically irreversible)
- Partial billing periods
7. Cancellations
You may cancel at any time.
a. Stripe (Card Subscriptions)
- Cancel via your account or billing portal
- No further charges after cancellation
- Access continues until end of billing period
b. Aurpay (Crypto Payments)
- If recurring is enabled, cancel through your wallet/provider
- If one-time payments are used, no future charges occur automatically
- Access continues based on last successful payment
8. Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- Access may be suspended or downgraded
- We may attempt to retry (Stripe)
- Crypto payments must be manually re-initiated if not automated
9. Chargebacks & Disputes
For Stripe payments:
- Chargebacks may result in account suspension
For crypto payments:
- Transactions are generally irreversible
- Disputes must be handled through the payment provider
10. Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable:
- Taxes
- Network/gas fees (for crypto payments)
11. Service Changes
We may:
- Modify membership features
- Change pricing or structure
- Add/remove payment providers
No guarantee is made regarding specific features.
12. Limitation of Liability
BetDebate is not liable for:
- Payment processor errors
- Blockchain/network issues
- Failed or delayed transactions
- Loss of access due to payment failure
13. Changes to Billing Terms
We may update these terms at any time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
